This non profit was started in 2021 by our Executive Director who struggles with MS himself and wanted to help the community and change the lives of people living with this autoimmune disease. Multiple Sclerosis National Charity Center is a non profit (501C3) based in Los Angeles and helping the community Nationwide. We may have MS but MS does not have us!

About MS
What is MS?
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease in which the body’s immune system attacks and destroys myelin, a fatty substance that covers nerve fibers and that is critical for their electric function.
The loss of myelin interferes with the ability of nerve cells to send electrical signals between the brain, spinal cord, and other regions of the body, and, in turn, the loss of effective nerve communication leads to disease symptoms such as pain, vision loss, numbness or trouble walking.
